How to Submit a Takedown Request
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Takedown Request” and include all of the following:
Your contact information — your full name, email address, and if applicable, the name of the organization you represent.
Identification of the copyrighted work — describe the original work you believe has been infringed, or provide a link to it.
Identification of the infringing content — provide the direct URL(s) to the specific page(s) on CPforKids.com where the content appears.
A statement of good faith — a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement of accuracy — a declaration, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on their behalf.
Your signature — your full legal name serves as your electronic signature.
What Happens After We Receive Your Request
We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 3 business days. If the request is valid and complete, we will remove or disable access to the identified content promptly. We will notify you when the content has been removed.
Counter-Notice Process
If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice to [email protected] with the following:
- Identification of the content that was removed and the URL where it appeared
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and phone number
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the relevant courts
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will notify the original claimant. If no legal action is filed within 10 business days, we may restore the content.
Repeat Infringement Policy
CPforKids.com maintains a policy of removing content that is the subject of repeated valid takedown notices. We take intellectual property rights seriously and act promptly on all legitimate requests.
Misuse of The Takedown Process
Filing a takedown notice with knowingly false information may result in legal liability under applicable law, including Section 512(f) of the DMCA.
