Power Up Your Art — 5 Dragon Ball Z Craft Ideas

DIY Dragon Balls Collect seven ping-pong balls or small orange craft spheres. Paint them orange and draw the stars — one star on the first, two on the second, all the way up to seven. Hide them around the house and use your colored character pages as clue cards for a Dragon Ball hunt. Whoever finds all seven gets to make a wish — within reason.

Kamehameha Blast Prop Roll blue or white tissue paper into a thick tube about 30cm long. Tape the ends lightly to hold the shape. Kids hold one end and push both arms forward to mimic the classic Kamehameha pose from the Goku pages. Works best when someone else makes the sound effect.

Scouter Headset Cut a Scouter shape from thin green or red acetate or colored cardstock — a small visor that covers one eye, attached to a strip of cardstock that goes over the ear. Tape it in place and you can scan power levels all afternoon. Pairs perfectly with the Vegeta coloring page.

Character Battle Cards Color six character pages — Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Trunks, Cell, and Frieza work well. Cut each one out and glue to cardstock. Write a power level number on the back of each card. Shuffle and flip — highest power level wins the round. Add more characters as you color more pages.

Senzu Bean Pouch Find a small green drawstring bag or make one from green felt. Fill it with green jelly beans or small candies. Label it “Senzu Beans” and keep it next to your coloring supplies. One bean restores full stamina — which in this case means one candy per completed coloring page.
