WHO IS JASMINE
Princess Jasmine first appeared in Disney’s Aladdin in 1992 — a princess who refused to be defined by her title, her palace, or anyone else’s plans for her. Voiced by Linda Larkin, she was one of Disney’s first princesses to actively push back against the world around her, sneaking out of the palace, speaking her mind, and choosing her own path.
Aladdin was a box office hit and remains one of the most beloved Disney films ever made, with Jasmine becoming one of the most recognizable Disney princesses worldwide. Her tiger Rajah, her friendship with Aladdin, and the magic carpet ride have made her coloring pages some of the most searched Disney princess printables online.
How to Color Princess Jasmine
Jasmine’s classic look is built around her signature outfit — a cropped top and harem pants with gold accessories. The outfit is that specific bright aqua that sits between blue and green, and the most common mistake is going too dark. Start with a light aqua or turquoise and layer slightly darker tones at the fabric folds and edges.
Her hair is the most dramatic element on the page — long, thick, jet black, and usually flowing behind her or tied back. Black hair on a coloring page can look flat if filled solid. A slightly warm dark brown as a base with true black for the deepest shadows gives the hair dimension without losing the dark look.
Gold accessories — earrings, waistband, headband — are the accent that pulls the whole palette together. Pale gold or warm yellow reads better than bright yellow here. If you have a gold gel pen, these are the pages to use it on.
Rajah is a Bengal tiger — warm amber-orange with black stripes and a cream-white belly and muzzle. His stripes work best when they follow the direction of his fur rather than sitting perfectly uniform. Kids often color him all-orange first, which is a great starting point before adding the black stripes on top.
The magic carpet has a geometric pattern built into the line art — diamonds, borders, and repeating motifs that reward careful coloring with two or three complementary colors. Deep jewel tones work beautifully here: burgundy, gold, and midnight blue.
The Agrabah backgrounds — palace arches, market stalls, night sky — give each page its atmosphere. The night sky pages look especially good with a dark blue or purple background and white stars, which kids can add with a white gel pen or crayon after the background is colored.
For the baby and easy pages, the large open areas work perfectly with chunky crayons. For the detailed portrait and wedding pages, fine-tip colored pencils give the best results on the ornate border details.
What to Do with Finished Jasmine Coloring Pages
Make a Magic Carpet Scene
Print the magic carpet page and the Agrabah rooftops page. Color them both, cut out Jasmine and Aladdin from the carpet page, and layer them over a colored night-sky background you paint or color separately. Glue everything to cardstock for a framed scene. It takes about twenty minutes and produces something that actually looks like a piece of artwork.
Turn the Baby Jasmine Pages into a Birthday Card
Print the baby Jasmine page or the kawaii Jasmine and Rajah page at half size. Color it, fold a piece of cardstock in half, and glue the colored figure to the front. Write the birthday message inside. Handmade Jasmine birthday cards take ten minutes and are the kind of thing kids actually save.
Use the Portrait Page for a Coloring Meditation Session
The detailed Jasmine portrait with the ornate Agrabah tile border is designed for slow, careful coloring rather than quick filling. Print it on cardstock, find fine-tip colored pencils, and treat it as a proper sit-down session. The border pattern is detailed enough to keep an adult genuinely engaged for an hour.
Build an Agrabah Story Strip
Print the marketplace page, the magic carpet page, and the balcony page in sequence. Color them, write a caption under each one, and staple them together as a three-page story. Kids who know the film immediately recognize the arc — and kids who don’t have just been introduced to it in three images.
Make a Disney Princess Gallery Wall
Print the Jasmine and Belle page and the full Disney princesses group page. Color them with each princess in her signature palette, frame them in matching frames, and hang them together. These two pages are designed to work as a set — the duo page and the full group page complement each other on a wall.
