What Is Italian Brainrot?

Italian Brainrot is a viral meme trend that exploded on TikTok in early 2025, built around absurd AI-generated hybrid creatures with pseudo-Italian names. Think Tralalero Tralala — a three-legged shark in Nike sneakers — or Bombardiro Crocodilo, a crocodile with the body of a WWII bomber plane. Each character combines an animal with a random object, weapon, or food, and comes with nonsensical Italian voiceover audio and fan-made lore that gets wilder by the week. The name comes from “brain rot” — Oxford’s 2024 Word of the Year — and fans use it to fully acknowledge the absurdity while leaning into it anyway.

The cast has grown to over a hundred characters with full backstories, rivalries, and war arcs built entirely by the community. By mid-2025 they were on Panini sticker albums, Roblox games, and official Fortnite skins. Generation Alpha knows every single one of them.

How to Color Italian Brainrot Characters

No official color palette exists — these characters started as AI-generated images and the community has run with them in every direction. That said, a few things are widely recognized:

  • Tralalero Tralala: grey shark body, white Nike sneakers with a colored swoosh, three legs
  • Bombardiro Crocodilo: green crocodile head, grey-green military bomber body, propellers
  • Ballerina Cappuccina: beige/brown cappuccino cup head with foam on top, pink tutu, flesh-toned legs
  • Tung Tung Tung Sahur: brown wooden plank body, dark eyes, wooden baseball bat
  • Brr Brr Patapim: dark brown tree-bark body, mossy greens, enormous flat feet, small blue frog in hat
  • Lirili Larila: green cactus body, grey-blue elephant head, brown oversized sandals

A few practical tips:

  • Background doodle areas are intentionally lighter lines — use lighter shades there so the character stays the visual focus
  • For battle and group scenes, giving each character a distinct color helps separate them in busy compositions
  • Markers fill large areas fast but use a scrap sheet underneath — these pages have open areas that bleed through thin paper
  • Colored pencils or watercolor pencils work especially well on the detailed character pages
  • Let kids go off-script on colors — a pink Bombardiro Crocodilo is completely valid and arguably more faithful to the spirit of the trend

6 Italian Brainrot Craft Ideas

1. Character Trading Cards

Print any of the individual character pages, color them carefully, then cut the image down to standard trading card size and laminate with clear tape on both sides. Write the character’s name, abilities, and a fun lore fact on the back. Italy already has official Brainrot trading cards — these are the DIY version and kids can build their own deck.

2. Brainrot Battle Board Game

Print the battle lineup page, color and cut out each character, and glue them to small cardboard bases so they stand upright. Use dice to determine who wins each matchup and create your own rules. The lore is already full of powerscale debates — this just makes it physical. Works well for a group of three to six kids.

3. Meme Wall Collage

Print a mix of character pages, color them all, and arrange them on a bedroom wall or cork board as a collage — no frames needed, just tape or pins. The group and squad pages work especially well as centerpieces. A surprising number of kids are doing this as actual room decoration and it looks genuinely great.

4. Brainrot Birthday Party Activity Station

Print a stack of the easy and baby character pages, lay them out on a table with crayons and markers, and let party guests color their own favorite character. The badge sheet can be colored, cut out, and worn as a party badge. Costs almost nothing and keeps kids at the table for a solid twenty minutes.

5. Dot-to-Dot and Maze Pack

Print the maze page and the dot-to-dot page together as a two-page activity pack, staple them, and send them home with kids after a party or hand them out in a classroom. Both pages work without any explanation — kids figure them out immediately. Good for travel, waiting rooms, or any situation where screens aren’t an option.

6. Lore Storybook

Print five or six character pages and a battle scene, color them all, then staple them together with blank pages between each illustration. Kids can write or dictate their own Italian Brainrot story — who wins the battles, what happens in the city, why Tralalero Tralala has three legs. The fan community invented the lore this way and kids take to it immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is Tralalero Tralala?

Tralalero Tralala is widely considered the first Italian Brainrot character — a three-legged shark wearing Nike sneakers, originally appearing in a TikTok video in January 2025. The video gained 7 million views and launched the entire trend. He’s the most recognizable character in the collection and the one most kids ask for by name. If you’re looking for more shark-themed fun, the shark coloring pages collection has plenty of non-brainrot options too.

Are these Italian Brainrot coloring pages free?

Yes, completely. Every page downloads as a PDF with no account, no email, and no sign-up. Click the Download button under any image and it opens directly in your browser ready to print.

Do these pages work on A4 paper?

Every file is formatted for both US Letter and A4 at 100% print scale. No resizing, no cropping, no adjusting anything. Just print.

Are there easy Italian Brainrot coloring pages for younger kids?

Yes — the Baby and Easy section has five pages with extra thick outlines, simple shapes, and large open areas made for small hands. The easy big-head page in particular works well for preschoolers who know the characters from older siblings or YouTube.

What are all the Italian Brainrot characters?

The most searched characters are Tralalero Tralala, Bombardiro Crocodilo, Tung Tung Tung Sahur, Ballerina Cappuccina, Cappuccino Assassino, Brr Brr Patapim, Lirili Larila, Chimpanzini Bananini, Bombombini Gusini, and Orcalero Orcala. This collection covers all of them plus several others including Frigo Camelo, La Vaca Saturno Saturnita, Trippi Troppi, Boneca Ambalabu, and Brri Brri Bicus Dicus. The full Italian Brainrot universe has over 100 characters — these are the ones with the highest recognition and search volume.

Is Italian Brainrot appropriate for kids?

The characters themselves — the hybrid animals, the absurd designs, the meme energy — are completely kid-friendly and that’s exactly why Generation Alpha loves them. Some original TikTok audio contains mild profanity, but the characters as images are harmless and have appeared on officially licensed products including Panini sticker albums and Fortnite skins. These coloring pages contain only the characters, no audio, no text from original videos.

Do you have Roblox Steal a Brainrot coloring pages?

The characters in this collection are the same ones featured in Steal a Brainrot — Tralalero Tralala, Bombardiro Crocodilo, Ballerina Cappuccina, and the rest of the cast are all here. If your kids play the Roblox game, they’ll recognize every character on these pages. For more Roblox-adjacent content, the Among Us coloring pages are popular with the same age group.

Parents looking for something to redirect the “Tung Tung Tung Sahur” energy, teachers running a pop culture art day, kids who want to color their favorite meme characters, and teens who grew up on Italian Brainrot printables and want to see what happens when you give Bombardiro Crocodilo a crayon treatment — this collection covers all of it. Free Italian Brainrot coloring pages, all characters, all scenes, one click to download.

All 36 pages are here, free, and ready to print.
