Try drawing one simple shape — a ring, a stripe, or a dot — in the upper-left wing, then copy that same shape into the same spot on the upper-right wing so the pattern matches. Repeat with a different shape on the two lower wings.
Keep each shape large enough to color in easily; a few big regions work better than many small lines. Matching the left and right sides is the classic approach, but there’s no rule against an uneven, asymmetrical design if that’s what a child wants to draw.
